A LONG AWAITED POST
Wow, I had to think for a second what my username and password were there it has been so long. Like Manny and Auren, I'm thinking of getting rid of the blog somehow, at least until I have something real interesting to post that I want everybody to know about. Then again, like Auren, I don't have Internet at home and that has played a bit of a factor. I'm at work right now killing a little time before I'll go take in some competitive co-ed volleyball.
Since my volleyball starts in like 10 minutes, I'll just update you briefly on what I've done since my last post:
- moved more than 900 kilometres from Lacombe to Williams Lake. Is that further than Auren moving from Hanna to Merritt? Not too sure, but it's definitely not as far as moving from Castlegar to Flin Flon like Manny did.
- I attended three weddings this past summer - my sister's in PG last month, my cousin TJ's in Kelowna in July and my cousin Kaiden's in PG in June. Yup, wedding season is officially over. Wow, I think I went to like five or six weddings total before this year. Three in one year seems like a lot, but it's time I get used to it. I'm getting to be that aged.
- I started working at the Williams Lake Tribune, and today, I officially passed my probation according to our publisher. Was there any doubt?
- Although it wasn't the best summer I ever had (work prevented that) it was a better summer than 2005. I took advantage of my new location with a few trips to PG, a couple to Kamloops, and a visit to Vancouver Labour Day long weekend. Oh, how it's been great to hang out with B.C. peeps again.
- other things I've done this summer include go swimming, plenty of partying and alcohol consuming, golfing, a little tennis and worked out at the gym a bit.
- that's pretty much all I have to say at this point. With the summer over, I can already see my schedule is getting busier. The TimberWolves Junior 'A' hockey season is well underway and our paper is getting bigger. Oh, and our new editor started today and his name is none other than Ken MacInnis. He almost has the coolest last name, which is of course McInnis.
There's an update. I felt a need to reply when I saw Tara's comment. Couldn't say for sure when I'll post again. We'll see how many comments I get. Likely not as many as Manny. But then again, I haven't contemplated shaving my chest.

What a frightening combination. Two Big Macs at the same paper? Bizarre.

Yikes. I don't think so. Any woman who has a chest that really needs to be shaved is a woman I'd rather not go near.

Feel free to comment on my blog again sometime if you wish. Do you use My Space?
*I used to use my space but I deleted it because I feel like I am too old to do that kind of stuff, so I'll I use now is MSN robyn_newell@hotmail.com
Are you serious I live the life you want to live because yours doesn't seem too bad.
*I am very happy in my life but I am currently working towards my journalism degree and am so excited for the day I work in the field
BTW, is Saskatchewan really as flat as everyone says? I lived in Alberta for a year which I thought was flat, but everyone there told me Saskatchewan was worse.
*It is flat, but it isn't bad we have beautiful skies and I love most of Saskatchewans scenery
